Impresionante participación del C.N. San Fernando en la capital del Santo Reino. Una Medalla de Oro y dos Medallas de Plata.
, con 75 Comentarios, Categoría: Alevín, Competiciones nacionales,Del 14 al 17 de julio de 2022 se celebró en la piscina jienense de La Salobreja el IX Campeonato de España Alevín. Esta competición incluía a los nadadores nacidos en los años 2008 y 2009 y a las nadadoras nacidas en 2010 y 2011 y para poder participar tuvieron que rebajar las exigentes marcas impuestas por la Federación Española de Natación. En el Campeonato se han concentrado 233 nadadores y 161 nadadoras de 167 equipos.
El Club Natación San Fernando ha tenido una participación estelar este fin de semana, ha conseguido el noveno puesto en la clasificación masculina con 161 puntos, siendo el equipo Navial el vencedor con 297 puntos. A título individual, Joaquín Pavón ganó una medalla de oro y David Rodríguez dos medallas de plata. Además, se rebajaron tres récords de club de la edad y dos récords provinciales.
Joaquín Pavón se proclamó Campeonato de España en la prueba de 100 mariposa con un tiempo de 1:00.70, rebajando el récord alevín del Club. Joaquín ganó la medalla de Oro con claridad en la parte final de una prueba que tuvo una rivalidad extraordinaria, finalizando los cuatro primeros en 56 centésimas. Ya en la mañana se clasificó para la final con la mejor marca, demostrando que en estos momentos es el más rápido de España en esta prueba.
Joaquín también luchó por el medallero en la prueba de 200 mariposa, terminando finalmente en el cuarto puesto con un crono de 2:20.56. Mantuvo la segunda plaza hasta los 150 metros, pero el fortísimo final de los rivales imposibilitó la conquista de otra presea.
La competición individual de Joaquín finalizó con la prueba de 200 estilos en la que concluyó en la posición décimo cuarta con un tiempo de 2:25.65.
David Rodríguez consiguió proclamarse Subcampeón de España en las pruebas de 100 y 200 espalda. En 200 espalda obtuvo la medalla de Plata con un tiempo de 2:17.75, nuevo récord alevín del Club y récord provincial. En las eliminatorias matinales David ya rebajó el récord del club y además consiguió la mejor marca de acceso a la final. La final fue de un gran nivel, dominando David los primeros 150 metros, pero la medalla de oro se desvaneció en la última parte de la prueba.
En la prueba de 100 espalda se hizo con la medalla de Plata con un crono de 1:03.25, nuevo récord alevín del Club y récord provincial. En las eliminatorias matinales entró en la final con la tercera marca y la rebaja de más de un segundo por la tarde propició llegar en segunda posición.
Pero las medallas no fueron los únicos triunfos de David este fin de semana, consiguió entrar en las finales de 100 y 200 libre. En 100 libre hizo su mejor marca personal con 57.10 consiguiendo la séptima posición en la final y en 200 libre igualó su mejor marca con 2:06.44 finalizando en octava posición.
En cuanto a la participación en los relevos, hay que hacer hincapié en que solamente cinco equipos masculinos andaluces consiguieron rebajar las mínimas y uno de ellos fue el equipo isleño, único representante de la provincia de Cádiz. Participaron en las pruebas de 4×100 y 4×200 libre y 4×100 estilos y los componentes de los equipos fueron Rafael González, Guillermo Virués, Joaquín Pavón y David Rodríguez.
En la prueba de 4×100 libre finalizaron en décimo segunda posición con un crono de 4:01.73 y en el décimo puesto en 4×100 estilos con un tiempo de 4:33.54. En estas dos pruebas rebajaron las marcas de acceso al Campeonato.
En 4×200 libre subieron unos segundos su marca acreditada y terminaron en la décima posición con 9:01.30.
