El pasado fin de semana, los días 3, 4 y 5 de junio se celebraron en la localidad de Palma del Río (Córdoba) los XVIII Campeonatos de Andalucía de natación open máster de verano. A este Campeonato acudieron 497 nadadores de 45 clubes de Andalucía, Madrid, Cataluña y Murcia ya que el campeonato era open. El campeonato se celebró en tres jornadas y cuatro sesiones. Otro año más se demostró el gran auge de la afición a la natación máster y el gran nivel de las participaciones ya que se lograron batir 48 récords de Andalucía y 2 de España. Por parte del Club Natación San Fernando acudieron cuatro nadadores de nuestra sección máster: María Teresa Muñoz, Lucía Treceño, Julio Pérez y Fernando Moya que participaron en trece pruebas individuales consiguiendo un resultado más que notable al ganar seis medallas, cuatro cuartos y tres quintos puestos. Estos grandes resultados les llevaron a posicionar al Club en el 23º puesto de la clasificación general final (aún sin haber podido nadar relevos). Con estos resultados demostraron su gran implicación con el club y el gran estado de forma, en esta temporada tan anómala en la que la sección máster (al igual que el resto de secciones) ha visto reducido en gran medida su tiempo de entrenamiento. Mención especial al nadador Julio Pérez, que consiguió la medalla de oro en los 100 braza y la de plata en los 200 braza y dos cuartos puestos (a centésimas del tercero) en los 50 braza y 50 espalda. Estos logros le han coronado como el gran triunfador de estos campeonatos demostrando su gran nivel como bracista. Desde el Club nos gustaría darles nuestra más sincera enhorabuena a todos ellos por sus excelentes resultados.

Lucía Treceño: Plata en 100 estilos, 4ª en 50 braza, 5ª en 50 mariposa y 5ª en 100 braza.
Julio Pérez: Oro en 100 braza, plata en 200 braza, 4º en 50 espalda y 4º en 50 braza.
Fernando Moya: 4º en 200 mariposa.
